New Mimi Fishman Auction

Phish and the Mimi Fishman Foundation have joined forces to raise funds for the Waterwheel Foundation. Created by Phish in 1997, the Waterwheel Foundation oversees the band's various charitable activities.

The auction will be facilitated by the Mimi Fishman Foundation and is scheduled to launch May 7, with the bidding coming to close on May 20. Serious Phish memorabilia/Jim Pollock fans will want to pay attention as the auction includes the original (one-of-a-kind) marker drawing of the artwork which became the Phish Hampton 2009 poster. Also featured on the auction is the last numbered print of the poster (750/750), which as an added bonus is also signed by the band. Another gem is an Artist Proof test printing of the Hampton Poster. Pollock artwork and posters were donated by Jim Pollock from his personal collection.

In addition, the auction includes two packages which feature both Phish and the Dave Matthews Band. The "Fenway Double-Header" features 2 tickets and passes for the May 30 Dave Matthews Band Fenway show, as well as 2 tickets for the May 31 Phish Fenway show.

If that wasn't enough, the auction also includes ten Phish Fenway Ticket/Download packages. The highest bidder for each package will receive 2 tickets and 1 MP3 download of the complete Fenway concert from LivePhish.com.

The proceeds from this auction will be donated to The Carolina Friends School/Afghan Sister School Project, The Neuroendocrine Tumor Clinic at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, and The Seven Below Arts Initiative.. These donations will be made in memory of Trey Anastasio's sister Kristy Manning who passed away in late April.
