What's the Irie Report?
Follow along with the Irie Report from home, December 10-15, as Caribbean Holidaze brings you the best of the festival “as it happens.”
Here’s what’s in store for the next week:
ARTIST INTERVIEWS: What’s Holidaze and Jamaica like for the artists? What are their best Holidaze memories? What’s going on with their projects stateside? We’ll ask ‘em and you’ll see and hear it in their own words.
MARLEY TOUR HIGHLIGHTS WITH MARC BROWNSTEIN: We’ll send Marc out with his own camera and you’ll get the best parts of the experience from the eyes of the Biscuits bassist. You’ll also catch some of the other artist activities from around the resort throughout Holidaze.
A GLIMPSE INTO PARADISE: We’ll be posting some video clips from The Disco Biscuits and Umphreys McGee sets as well as some clips from your other favorite Holidaze artists throughout the festival.
REAL TIME SETLISTS: Disco Biscuits and Umphreys McGee setlists, song by song, as they happen. Get the scoop while you’re following along online.

same time zone as NYC, mon!
live stream was considered, but the satellite and uplink could not be guaranteed. it was complicated working with the Jamaican providers, etc etc. i think the feeling was to avoid bumming everyone out by promising and not being able to deliver that. (even so, it would probably only be do-able on pay per view)

Someone needs to stream it on Ustream with an iPhone like the greenboard does. The problem would be finding someone who wants to hold their iPhone instead of raging, I sure wouldn't want to...

somebody install ustream live broadcasting on their iphone, hit the record button and post the URL it's easy as shit to do, i was able to figure it out last night in a stupor of sleep deprivation
so you spunions all liqoured up, coked out, high as a kite, mahl dog'd to the gills can figure it out too
you hit the record button and then post the url link onto PT

if you don't have your phone locked in the safe within 5 minutes of arriving at holidaze you're doing it wrong
