We sleep naked, yes. Stuff happens, followed by sleep. Sleep is followed by stuff happening, also.
honestly, the only thing wrong is that I have to go to work during the day.

this summer I got to the point where sometimes I'd go to bed out when it was dark outside (like 5:30am) and wake up when it was dark out again. that is WEIRD for sure.

i just watch discovery channel. the chick who narrates planet earth puts me to sleep in roughly 5 minutes. or i suppose you could hit a bowl but who knows.

Dave - I've been dealing with this for the past week and a half. Not waking up early like you, but not being able to fall asleep at night.
I have not been able to fall asleep earlier than 3am for that long. Some nights I'm up until 5 in the morning, even though I have to wake up between 7:30-8am for work. Some of my work days lately have been ruff to say the least. :-(
Normally, if I'm not able to sleep much during the week, then I try to catch up on as much sleep as I can on the weekend. Yeah, I know this is not healthy.
Well, the weekend before last I had to wake up fairly early both Sat & Sun morning, so I was not able to do this. I only got a total of 31hrs sleep in 7 nights. Luckily this past weekend I was able to get a lot of sleep. 10 1/2 hrs on Friday night (or should I say Sat morning) and another 11 1/2 hrs on Sat night.
Sorry, I don't have any advise to help ya out. I just thought I'd post what I've been going through recently because I feel your pain.
It's now 2:45am and I'm wide awake. Luckily I'm on vaca and don't have to return to work until next Tue, so I can sleep in.
One good thing that has come from this is that I had the extra time to upload all of my pics from the past 2 yrs. Check them out here if you haven't already.

Lay off the crack. Seriously though, take the time to get yourself tested if it gets to be such a problem. I've had insomnia since I was five, found out I have sleep apnea, not to mention five other sleep disorders. I know I sound like a nerd, but seriously. Vicidin also works great! If you can't sleep on that, you'll at least have some fun.

Well, I was up until 5 last night again, and just rolled out of bed a litttle while ago.
9 1/2hrs isn't too bad. So glad that I did not have to get up for work today. I feel great!

here is a good one, if you wake up around 4 or whenever put all of your worries, (or the things thoughts that are keeping you up) into your own mental computer screen. list them, mentally highlite them then hit delete. works pretty good. there are also tons of sleep affirmations that you can use. hw

mon - 2 tues - 7 weds - 0
not a good way to go in to ct/ct/ri/ri. gotta stock up in the sleep department tonight.
