who all is going.. I just found a pretty good deal on tickets.. not as close as I'd like to be but in the front of the 204 section..
I'm not a big MMJ or Metallica fan.. but I can't say either is a bad performer that I wouldn't enjoy seeing...
Obviously Tom Waits is the fucking Man, and therefore making me consider driving 1hr south to sit in a shitty-sounding shed...
and that Guy Neil Young can play!

I'm not going but after last years amateur-hour fest I'd say get reserved fo sho.
Although the only bands I really wanted to see this year were Metallica(& Neil Young of Course)
The best One I ever saw was '04(I think)
Tony Bennet
Paul McCartney
Ben Harper
Eddie Vedder
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Los Lonely Boys(Hate if you want, these guys are great musicians)
I've gone the past 5 years...but this one just wasn;t doing it for me.

mmj was added last week to replace what would have been a great set from Vedder, Flea and Jack Irons. the reason given was that one of them had a family issue to deal with.
when MMJ was named as the replacement i looked into finding a flight but i am just to busy with work to fly out this weekend.

ehhh. the STS9 halloween thing? I was looking at that.. not sold on it yet. I haven't seen them in years (except for a daytime set at the Greek opening for Cheese this summer. They were terrible)
are they worth it? it's on a wednesday?

I'm not a big fan honestly, but it's Halloween, and it's probably a great party.. I plan on tripping and having a good time... not going to be blown away by STS9.. but there is worse soundtracks to a halloween party...
should be a good time... ya'll should come...

yeah, I neglected to go last year and was kinda pissed I didn't...
it should be pretty HETTY as I expect some spunions from Vegoose to be showing up as well..

Not going this year... last years was a great time. But do the n=bands that play during the day always play the same sets twice? Last year all of the bands up til DMB and on played the same set.. that kinda killed it.
