Story:
Phish got into town a night early before Hampton 97. They were staying at a hotel in Williamsburg (nicest hotees in the area) and Mike, Fish, and Paige went to a bar right next to William & Mary called The Green Leaf. Try was with Sue so he didn't join. Well W&M is NOT a happening school so not many people knew who they were, but word spread.
I was with some friends that lived right down the road and we got a call from a guy who was not a fan, but said that Phish was at the Green Leaf and to get down there soon people were starting to show up. We thought he wasn't a fan he's full of shit. A half hour later a friend called that WAS a fan and said to get our asses down there so we walked down the street and there was a line out the door. We didn't get in, but went to a bar across the street to wait and see.
After the bar closed the guys walked back with us and our neighbors that lived in a house called the "hippie house" I know cliche, but it really was like 20 people in a 5 bedroom house. We partied late, they ended up at our townhouse which had a huge finished basement. We ended up down there. They were cool. Mike fucked this chick I know. Fish was the most social. Paige was kinda quiet. Me and a friend backed a bubbler and Fish and Mike passed, Page was sitting on the couch kinda off to himself being quiet. We held it up from across the room offering. He kind shrugged as to say why not and walked over.
I still have the 96 Hamtpton ticket stub I got them to sign.

in college i smoked with all the guys from Das EFX. This was a very fun night, and they were really cool to hang with. smoked with Seth Yacavone during a friends wedding his band was playing in VT this past fall.

Redman: My buddy opened for him in DC back in 01, and we smoked a couple joints before my buddy went on. Not too exciting, but he's a funny dude.
Gordon Gano: Met him at Solly's(burger place) in Milwaukee before Summerfest in 07. I gave him a nug in the parking lot and he said he would put me on the guest list. I get there and we end up smoking with a bunch of crew members in the Summerfest production offices. Also ran into the lead singer from Wolfmother right afterwards and was too high to say anything.
Vince Welnick: before the Beatle Jam show at BB Kings. Really nice guy.
Matt Vasgersian: BBQ at my sisters house in Solana Beach. His gf is friends with my sister. We talked Brewers baseball and watched Always Sunny DVDs.
My sister also smoked with Tony Hawk and Mos Def at her Christmas party this year.

I bumped into Wooten while I was on Mushrooms at B'roo 03. He reminds me of a funky frankenstein, really nice guy. I've never really smoked with anybody who would be considered famous.

My buddies took bomb rips with michael phelps last fall in Columbia, sc. One of them took a picture on his iPhone. His brother is a small time actor in LA, whose publicist said the pic was worth seven figures. Didn't sell it bc of karma and didn't want to be a rat. The kid will inherit WAY more than that so he doesn't need it. If it was me, consider it sold.
