d who goes to south carolina. Has had the picture for months on his phone, not knowing what to do with it. I started a thread on here a few months ago when the picture was taken. Apparently he lost his phone Friday night in Charleston. I haven't heard from him but talked to many of my buds who go to SC and they are all freaking out. I know he was offered 50,000 for the pic but couldn't bring himself to sell it. He is already set to inherit WAY more than that so he didn't need the cash. Swear to god this is true, just don't know who released the pic but it is he EXACT one that was/is on his phone. He was blazing with him.

Can you imagine finding a random phone at a bar or whatever and looking through the pictures and being like "is that Michael Phelps ripping a bong"
If your story is true... the picture was likely discovered and sold by someone who works at the bar or where ever he dropped it. They probably have a box of phones that people leave there.
On a side note - your friend is a piece of shit for taking the picture in the first place.

They were all at this kid who swims for SC house, who also sells funky buds. They were all kickin it and started blazing. My buddy pulled out his Iphone and snapped the pic. He swears that he didn't sell it and I tend to believe him. He didn't wanna sell it b/c of karma and like I said he has had it for months. He did lose his phone in charleston Friday but find it kinda strange the details the stories online get into. Search archived threads for the thread I started about it back in November when I first saw the pic and heard about it. It really is the picture.

lame that he took the pic and kept it on his phone that long. if you want to be a dick and take that pic, then show a few people and delete it after a week or two.

Nothing is going to happen to phelps, he already has 100 mil in the bank and 14 gold medals.. He is 23, I think america realizes 23 year olds party.. He kept the pic because it was potentially worth a TON of money, and I know many people on this board would sell it for the kind of cash he got offered. I really don't think he sold it, everyone knew he had the pic and how much it was worth. Also broke up with his girlfriend recently who had a copy of it but her friends are saying she wouldn't even know where to begin to sell something like that..
