I got an 05 Element. I bought an extended 100,000 mile warranty with it. Even though I've been told I don't need it with a Honda.
I've drove it across country twice and on tour so far and haven't had any major issues. When I did Honda took care of it.

The only thing is they suck in windy conditions (hence the box shape)

I had sex with some chick in the back of one at the first 10KLF...plenty of room for that!

the cars are NICE and huge in the back. it's kinda like having a conversion van. i don't like that only 2 people can sit in the back. it makes it hard when you wanna take 5 across town or something. there are also some weird blind spots due to the box shape. but they are very versatile vehicles for camping, road tripping, etc.

They have some nice features for sure. Like the normal power plug deal(basically it has a wall-like power plug) I always thought that was cool. I just figure they have to be one of the ugliest vehicles honda has ever made.

Tommygun, you must be hing like a moose and smart as hell or something to pull trim in a honda element. Nice

I have an 03 and it is my favorite car ever. The back seats are very comfy and they sit up. My friend is 6'2 and he has leg room to spare in the back. The front seats can push into the dash for more room to sleep in the back for camping. There is more room to haul as the seats either come out or fold up into the walls. Good gas mileage and all wheel drive. I could seriously go on and on. I LOVE THIS CAR.

one of my friends is an avid outdoorsman - kayaking, snowboarding, disc golf, etc. and the thing is incredible for just hauling around people and equipment

On our 2nd element at the moment. Would still have the 1st one, but totaled it. It is an awesome car for what I use it for. Going to shows, camping, festivals and hauling dogs around etc... It actually drives really great like all Hondas. Of course the wind can bounce you around a bit and that take a bit to get used to. Now I barely even notice the wind I'm so used to it I guess. Honda Elements are great! You will love it!
