The first Phantasy Tour compilation CD is ready for prime time. After considering many options for distribution, we've ultimately decided to offer this first compilation by Bit Torrent download. For information about Bit Torrent, visit this page:

If you'd prefer a physical CD to a download, we are working on also offering a physical CD that can be purchased at a minimal cost. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Due to time constraints, we've opted to forgo a design contest for cover art at this time. Cover art will be made available for download in the coming days and will be included with the physical CD if you decide to purchase it.

Phantasy Tour is excited to announce the upcoming release of a compilation of music by Phantasy Tour members and their bands. Through this project we hope to help build awareness for some of the great music that's being made by Phantasy Tour members. We would first like to thank everyone who worked with us to make this project come alive and the vast support received from the PT community.

After nearly two weeks of listening to over 200 entries, the final decisions have been made for the first installment of the Phantasy Tour CD Series. Ten (10) of the fourteen (14) songs were chosen by Scott Sommer (aka BOTRnewmusic) who sought to pick a diverse group of outstanding artists and tracks. The final four (4) tracks were chosen from among twenty (20) finalists selected by Scott to be voted on by a panel of PT users. The final track listing is shown below.

Unfortunately there were far too many excellent tracks to choose from and we had to be very critical in deciding which tracks to use. In many cases, we received a handful of great tracks with similar genre styles and therefore had to pick what we felt was the best from those groups. Given the amount of interest and large number of submissions, we are already contemplating future installments. In addition to those tracks already submitted, we will also continue to accept additional submissions from new artists. Instructions for submitting music for the second CD should be posted on this site sometime in early October.

Instructions on how to obtain this CD, as well as the release date will be posted on this page sometime in the coming weeks. Also stay tuned to this page for more information about the bands featured on the compilation and for information about a design contest for the album's cover art.
