Last night was the best NYE show in MANY, MANY years. Along with Vic'c 2 songs in the first set the song selection was very much a tribute to him. Second set was fucking awesome, the boys killed it with some classic Panic along with the Megablasters segment. The 3rd set was the biggest highlight I've seen since Mikey. I don't know what to say about it, awesome.

Agreed jackatl on all accounts second set was just solid panic and a nice ophelia.

Third set has me in awe. From start to finish it was as good as I can remember of panic in awhile. It will be heavy in my rotation that jam into wanna be startin something was just dirty southern panic. It was like a new band that set. A real treat to ring in the new year and a nice tribute to mj. Loved the vic stuff to close out the run and throughout the night.

Crowd was good in my area but the jackasses lighting fireworks? I am not sure I have seen a dumber thing inside the show. And kids stay off the fucking stage. Fwiw I saw the kid get pretty roughed up behind the stage which was quite funny and deserved.

Now if I could just get on this flight west and crash at home.

just got home. thought last nights show was as good as any new years that i have seen in a long time. energy was good around my crew. music was on time from the beginning to the end. No one can complain about this one. It had true flow LGDTB to Protein Sewing. started the new year off right. loved it.

Best show of 09. Third set was freaking smoking. Post Mikey 1. 12/31/09. 2. 11/08/08. 3. 10/30/09. IMO.

this is what everybody has been waiting for on a new years run...not the standard at all. open with vic and close with vic song. 2nd set and on was just fire. def best NYE since mikey

thank you boys!

side note- club section is overrated, not nearly as much energy over there, most people were sitting during 1st set. we moved after the 1st set. looked over after we moved and there were just rows and rows that were empty. maybe closer to the stage was better but 106 was the weak.

I kind of agree the 30th was pretty terrible.. Jimmy was so far out of the mix the sound was just terrible plus he was overplaying every song.

The 31st was the awesome. Period.

Something happened to me for the first time in the third set. I'm pretty sure I blacked out from sheer joy. I know I didn't consume enough alcohol to black out. Hell I didn't even touch my flask I snuck in. That was the best Panic show I've ever seen.

Yep...3rd set was smoking. My whole body is sore today from dancin' down. 36 songs and some sweet jams. No where better to start 2010.
